Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, if a referrer (as defined hereinbelow) refers a candidate (as defined hereinbelow) to Enterprise Strategy Corporation (“ESC”) and such candidate is subsequently employed by ESC’s client for a minimum continuous period of six (6) months from the date of hire, then ESC shall remit to the referrer a referral fee in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) (the “Referral Fee”).
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, FROM TIME TO TIME IN ESC’s SOLE DISCRETION. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU OF AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BY POSTING THEM TO THIS WEBSITE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.
For the purposes contained herein, “candidates” shall refer to those individuals seeking a position with the ESC client and “Referrers” shall refer to those individuals who refer a candidate for a position with the ESC client.
All candidates must meet the minimum criteria defined within the position description. Any candidates that fail to meet the minimum requirements will not be considered for the position.
In order to be eligible for the Referral Fee, the candidate shall not have directly or indirectly submitted a resume for the applicable position with the ESC client. Additionally, the candidate must be available to be interviewed and to start the position with the ESC client in accordance with the ESC client’s requirements. Finally, the candidate’s resume must be formatted in an editable version of a Microsoft Word and must include the candidate’s direct contact information.
Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, Referral Fees are payable upon the later to occur of: (a) ESC’s receipt of payment by the ESC client for the placement or (b) that date which is six (6) months following the candidate’s date of hire.
The referrer shall provide ESC with IRS form W-9 at the address listed below prior to payment of a Referral Fee. The referrer shall indemnify and hold ESC harmless from and against any and all claims or liabilities arising from the terms and conditions contained herein, or any claims arising or costs incurred as a result of the actions or failures to act of the candidate. The referrer shall be responsible for any taxes or fees associated with the referral fee payment.
At the point in which the referrer is paid, a matching contribution will also be made to the United Way of the National Capital Area. The referrer will not receive credit or any tax benefit from the contribution.
By submitting a referral, the referrer agrees to abide by all of the conditions listed above.
